Telepsychiatry Payment Policies

Payment Policies:

WV Psychiatric Services is a private cash based practice. Payment is due at the time of service. Fees are kept low to facilitate the treatment process.

Please note: I do not see patients with Federally Funded Insurance such as: WV Medicaid, Medicare, Champus or Tricare insurance. Federally Sponsored Insurance Providers will not pay for any prescriptions or labs ordered by this practice.

If you have a federally funded private insurance excluding the above listed insurances and understand that you will be responsible for the cost of medications, labs, and treatment, you may sign a waiver and enter treatment.

Federally funded insurance beneficiaries typically include local, state and federal employees and/or contractors. In West Virginia, many hospital employee insurance programs are federally funded.

As an out-of-network provider, I am pleased to offer heightened care through integrative approaches that may surpass what's typically covered by insurance. This approach facilitates quicker and enhanced recovery, providing you with easier access to appointments for a more streamlined therapeutic experience.

If you have private insurance excluding any of the Federally Funded Insurances and would like to submit an out-of-network claim for Psychiatric Services, you may submit a superbill to your insurance provider.

Labs ordered by this practice are ordered at whole sale pricing which often undercuts your out of pocket expense of your insurance deductible.
